Children's Books
Marco has already written 5 children's books (ebooks) with the cutest characters. Three of the
ebook are in Afrikaans and two are in English. The book "Meet Friday the
frog and friends" includes writing exercises, colouring pictures and other similar activities.
In this activity book the child gets to meet Friday the frog and his friends. The aim of the book is to teach kids the importance of good relationships, that everyone is different and special. The stories are short and easy to understand and the story line is well rounded with rhyme words for easy memorizing. Colourful illustrations and interesting storyboard layout. Colour-ins and other exercises as well as numbers 1 to 10 are also included. Hours of fun for young (and old!) This book also has an Afrikaans version titled: "Pietie Padda en Vriende".

The Marnus series includes: "Marnus Maak Maats" and "Marnus Besoek die Dieretuin". Marco Bester's motivation for this series is to present Afrikaans speaking preschool children ages 3 to 6 or older with stories in their own language. Aspects such as diversity, nature conservation, moral values, discipline, helpfulness, innovation, technology, problem solving, creativity and much more, are part of the themes under discussion.
One of the English books is Johnny and the Thingamajigs. In this ebook we meet little Johnny who never wants to wash his hands after playing. After he falls sick, his mommy tells him the story about the germs called "Thingamajigs". He soon realizes the importance of hygiene. This might be a small book, but it holds a big message. Thingamajigs is suitable for children 2 years and older.

Pencil
Sketches
With his exquisite and lifelike pencil sketches Marco's sketch talents are truly exhibited. The sketches are
in black and white and mostly of children, although sketches are created of young and old. Good examples are father and son, granddad and grandson, grandma and grandchildren. The artwork can be framed, but is mostly delivered without a frame, driven by client preference. These pencil sketches are special decorative items for the home, but will also become cherished heirlooms for descendants. The process for

Order and payment process for pencil sketches:
Interested clients send a couple of photos via email to Marco (JPG format). The size is discussed and
a quotation is provided. At this stage a non-refundable deposit is requested. When the artwork is 50% completed, a photograph of the progress will be emailed. Once the client is satisfied and gives the go-ahead, the payment for the outstanding balance and final arrangements pertaining to the delivery of the artwork follows. The customer is responsible for the framing of the artwork, hence

Interested clients send a description and/or scanned photo(s) (JPG format) of the requirement or idea. Marco
then prepares a conceptual presentation. The artistic details of the project are discussed up to the point of actualization. Once the
client is satisfied, the quotation and appointment details follow. Unfortunately, this remarkable service is currently only available in the Pretoria region.
In like manner, Marco can also paint
delightful commercial decorative designs for restaurants, cafes, mess halls, bookshops, flower shops, ad infinitum.

Order process for logos:
The client sends the requirements and specifications and/or examples via email. Marco then creates a
presentation of the concept(s) and prepares the quotation. Final arrangements then follow once the client is satisfied.
