Sybrand is not only a talented singer, but also a skilled song writer. He also plays the trumpet and guitar. He is well-known for his gospel songs and as Christian he sees his singing and musical talents as instruments and part of his ministry.

His debut CD includes songs such as: "'n Nuwe Dag"; "Weet Jy"; "U is my Koning", as well as golden gospel oldies such as: "Houtkruis"; "Sweef soos 'n Arend" and many more.

Sybrand, who has shared the stage with other familiar gospel singers, frequently appears at feasts and church services. He also participates at weddings and camps or wherever he might feel God leads him to perform.
